Odds to probability calculator

See what a price really says before you stake: the chance it implies, the win rate it needs to break even, and how much margin the bookmaker has built into a market.

One price

Decimal (2.50), fractional (6/4) or American (+150) odds.

At 2.50, a selection has to win more than 40.0% of the time, over many bets, just to break even. If it loses, the whole ₦1,000 is lost.

A full market

Every outcome's price, to see the bookmaker's margin and fair chances.

The implied chances add up to 104.8%. The extra 4.8% is the bookmaker's margin; dividing it out gives the market's fair view.

Reading the numbers

Implied chance is 1 divided by the decimal odds: 2.50 implies 40%. It is the price's break-even point, not a forecast, and every bookmaker market adds a margin on top of the real chances. A short price is a likely outcome, never a certain one.
